A roofing company has been fined £12,000 and ordered to pay costs of £22,375 after they used power washers to clean asbestos cement roof sheets. This breaches Regulation 16 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006. The HSE inspector commented “This company showed a wilful disregard for the safety of its employees and the general public”
